She turned slightly to look at him while she kept the guitar in hand, small smile on her face.“Can I tell you a secret?” she asked as she bit her bottom lip. She didn’t wait for an answer before she continued. “I was really mad at you one day. When I lived with you. Around that time when Mercedes and Santana were fighting for you. I had the sudden urge to break this thing. But I didn’t.” She shone it into the light, tilting it just right before she showed him what she carved in it. “I figured it was better than breaking it.”
Puck cringed a bit at the mention of the little thing he had with Mercedes. He couldn’t even remember why he did that.
